Kansas City Concrete Leveling

Lift settled concrete. Keep the slab you already have.

Metro Wide Concrete Leveling raises and stabilizes sunken concrete with expanding polyurethane foam. It is a targeted alternative to replacement for many structurally usable slabs around Kansas City homes and businesses.

What We Level

Polyfoam slab lifting for the concrete you use every day.

Soil movement, erosion, poor compaction, and water can leave empty space beneath a slab. Our concrete leveling process places lightweight foam below the surface to fill those voids and carefully guide the concrete upward.

How It Works

A controlled repair with less disruption than replacement.

We inspect the slab and the conditions around it, plan the lift, drill a small pattern of injection ports, and place polyfoam beneath the concrete. The foam expands to fill unsupported areas and raise the slab in controlled stages. Once the lift is complete, we patch the ports and clean the work area.

Not every cracked or settled slab should be lifted. Our estimate process is designed to determine whether leveling is a practical fit and to identify drainage, washout, or structural conditions that may need separate attention.

Why Kansas City properties settle

  • Seasonal moisture changes that make supporting soil move.
  • Water runoff that washes material out from beneath a slab.
  • Backfill or base material that was not evenly compacted.
  • Repeated freeze-thaw cycles and years of everyday use.

Common Questions

Start with the slab, the cause, and the result you need.

Can cracked concrete still be leveled?

Often, yes. The location and severity of the cracks matter, along with the condition of the slab. We inspect the concrete before recommending a lift.

How do I know if there is a void?

Settlement, hollow areas, washout at an edge, and a slab that moves under load can all point to lost support. An on-site evaluation provides a clearer answer.

Is leveling less disruptive than replacement?

In many cases, yes. Polyfoam lifting works through small injection ports and avoids the demolition, hauling, and curing time associated with a full tear-out.
